Server Rules

Here on Sasquatch MC we have a short list of rules to ensure that our community is a safe friendly environment for any kind of player to enjoy themselves. Failure to follow these rules will result in punishment.

We also have a "common sense" policy. If you think it breaks the rules, please take the time to check the rules and contact a staff member. These rules are a basic list of offenses and should be viewed as guidelines to follow. By playing on Sasquatch MC or by joining our Discord you're agreeing to follow these guidelines.

I. General Rules

• I: No hate speech, gore, illegal content, NSFW, religious wars, or doxxing. Basically, just be nice to people and don't be a weirdo.
• II: No hacks, cheats, dupes, exploits, or lag machines. If you find something you think is a dupe or exploit, report it to Imnahha first before using it. This includes any mod, client, or resource pack that gives an unfair advantage. See our list of allowed mods here.

II. Chat & Behavior Rules

1. No swearing in chat. Swear abbreviations are allowed. Sending 4+ abbreviations in one message or 3 messages in a row with abbreviations will result in a mute. Swearing is allowed in voice chat.
2. No spamming or self-promotion. No repeated messages, characters, or copy-pasting. Sending the same message 3 times in a row results in a mute. No advertising or self-promotion without staff permission.
3. Don't push jokes too far. Jokes are okay, but repeatedly annoying, targeting, or harassing someone — even "as a joke" — is not allowed. If someone asks you to stop, stop.
4. No mini-modding. Do not act like staff, enforce rules, threaten punishment, or argue with moderation decisions in public chat. Contact staff privately instead.
5. No rule circumvention. Do not exploit loopholes, technicalities, or intentionally bypass restrictions.
6. Staff discretion. Staff may take action in situations not explicitly listed to keep the server fair, fun, and welcoming.

Punishments

• Hate speech: 30 day ban --> Permanent ban.
• No hacks: 14 day ban, 30 day ban, Permanent ban.

Chat Infractions

1 hour mute, 4 hour mute, 1 day ban, 3 day ban, 7 day ban, 14 day ban, 30 day ban, permanent ban.

Evading punishment (alts, VPNs, or helping someone bypass punishment) will immediately extend the punishment to the next tier.

Allowed Clients: Fabric, Forge, Modrinth, Prism, Lunar, Feather, Badlion

Mods that don’t provide a combat advantage are allowed, such as performance mods. You are allowed to use visual mods as long as they do not reveal hidden bases, ores through walls, or server easter eggs.

Examples of Allowed Mods: Full Bright, Optifine, Sodium, Xaero’s Minimap (Fair-Play Settings), Replay Mod or Flashback (For recording videos) and Armor Status

Any mod that performs actions on your behalf or allows you to see entities behind walls is not allowed. This includes:

- Any mods that provide a combat advantage such as changing your movement speed, reach, or rotating for you.

- Mods that automatically place, use, or otherwise aide the usage of items, other than visually, are not allowed. (The Elytra Hotkey mod, and the Chest Tracker mod are allowed, these are the only exceptions to this rule.)

- Inventory management mods or anything that moves items around for you. (The Elytra Hotkey mod, and the Chest Tracker mod are allowed, these are the only exceptions to this rule.)

Examples of Banned Mods: X-ray texture packs / modifications, ESP mods, Freecam, AutoTotem, Hacked clients

Not all mods are going to be listed.

Any additional mods you install on a client must comply with our mod policy as well.
